In the Free Lance-Star‘s June 12, 2011 edition, Cathy Dyson writes about the King George market and how it continues to flourish.  The market has recently introduced new programs, such as  the token program available to credit card and SNAP EBT (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefits Transfer) customers.   SNAP customers not only can swipe their cards but will also receive matching tokens up to $10.  There is also a  new bus service to the market available on select Saturdays and exciting upcoming  events.  The market has more vendors, and perhaps more days of the week for consumers to shop.
