The Fredericksburg City Farmers Market is excited to be hosting the first-ever Kids’ Market on June 8, 2013, at Hurkamp Park. Kids ages 8-15 are invited to apply to be vendors for a day.

“We’re really encouraging kids to think outside the box. Team up with your brother or sister, a neighbor or friend, and bring a great, homemade product to the market,” said Market Manager Gayle Price.

Applications can be downloaded from the link below. Product diversity and creativity will be the primary requirement for selection as a participant. Kids can bring home grown veggies, flowers and herbs. Eggs, baked goods, and drinks are also welcome.

Applications are due 4/15/13 and can be mailed to Fredericksburg Farmers Market, 408 Canal Street, Fredericksburg, VA, 22401. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by 5/1/13.
